Policies effected under these tables, which were then entitled to participate, received at last investigation bonus additions of more than 3 per cent, per annum on the sum assured. Tables for Deferred and Reversionary Annuities, for Endowments for Children) for Joint Lives Assurances, and for Endowment Assurances, will be found in. the Prospectuses of the Society. The Directors invite intending Assurers to compare these Tables and the general facilities of this Society with those; of other offices. The Directors: beg to draw attention, to the important privileges accorded to the Society by Parliament, among which-are— Ist. The protection of all its Policies against •the operation of the Insolvent Laws, after a certain ;duration, to a gradually increasing • amount. 2nd. The Protection of Policies of Married Women against the debts or control of tneir husbands. , 3rd. Small Assurances, being, saved the expense of letters of administration. TiHE Directors have the satisfaction to draw the attention of intending Assurers to the important and peculiar privileges accorded to the Society by its Act of Incorporation, among which are the, following.:—• 1. The protection to a gradually increasing amount of allits Policies after an endurance of two years against the operation of laws relating to Insolvency. 2. The Protection of Policies of Married Women against the debts or control of their husbands. 3. For the encouragement of Small Assurers their Policies are relieved from the heavy tax involved in taking out letters of administration, &c.
