( His Excellency the Governor has appointed William John Warburton Hamilton, Esq., Charles Christopher Bowen, Esq., and Thomas Cass, Esq. to be_ Commissioners of Native Keserves, in the Province of Canterbury, under the " New Zealand Native Reserves Act, 1856." - By the latest priv,ate advices we learn that Mr. Sewell was not expected to sail for New Zealand till about June. Mr. Eitz Gerald had not arrived in England at the latest dates. :
