THIS Company has been formed for the purpose of facilitating the communication between Lyttelton and the various shipping ports of the province. A suitable steamer has been ordered from Sydney, and may be expected to arrive within a very short period. Applications for shares will be received up to the 31st December. To or from the River Heathcote, 2s. 6d. To or from Kaiapoi, ss. 0 Charging extra for luggage over 14 lbs. Freights and Passage Money to or from other places to be by special arrangement witb the Manager. All freights will be considered due on the arrival of the Steamer, before the delivery of the o-oods. The Company will not be responsible for goods after landing them on the wharves or places of discharge.
