THE Amateurs have much pleasure in announcing, that, being desirous of testifying to their talented directress their appreciation of her uniform kindness and courtesy, it is their intention to present that lady (prior to her departure from this province) with' a farewell complimentary benefit, to take place on Monday, April the sth ; when they trust that her great exertions and ability, both as an actress and directress, will not be unrewarded by the admivers of the legitimate drama. The performance will commence with Sheridan Knowles's chef d'cauvre, THE WIFE, A TALE OF MANTUA. Mariana Mrs. Foley. After which will be given by Mr. H. Coppin, the pathetic legend of Villikins and his Dinah. To conclude with a screaming farce by the author of "Mary White," entitled DID YOU EVER SEND YOUR WIFE TO CHRISTCHURCH.
