HIS HONOR THE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be notified for public information, that a Lease of the Tolls of the Lyttelton Jetty will be put up to Public Auction, at the Police Office, in Lyttelton. ON THURSDAY, the 25th INSTANT, at 12 o'Clock. The Lease will be for one year from the 26th instant, and- it will he submitted at an upset rent of £125, payable in equal instalments on the last day of every month. The Lessee must engage to exact not higher tolls than those at present charged. The Lessee must engage that all goods shall be removed from the jetty as soon as possible after being landed, or placed on it for shipment. If any goods shall be left on the jetty after 4 o'clock, p.m., the Lessors will have the right, to remove them to some, store; the removal and storage to be at the cost of' the Lessee.
