HPRE Commissioners of the Waste -*- Lands Board will sit at the Land Office, Christchurch, on SATURDAY, the Ist of May next, at 10 a.m., for the purpose of re ceiving Pasturage License Pees under the Waste Lapds Regulations (Ist April, 1856, Clause 51) now in force within this Province. Holders of Pasturage Licenses of 5,000 acres and upwards will be required, on payment of their rent, to give to the Board a written declaration of the numbers and description of stock depasturing on their respective runs on the said Ist day of May, as required by the 55th Clause of the Land Regulations. Notice is also hereby given, that, the runs between the Rakaia and Ashburton Rivers being now in course of survey, Holders of Pasturage Licenses within that District will be required to pay their proportion of the cost of the said survey, (at the rate of eleven shillings per 1,000 acres) on or before the Ist of September next. A portion of the parchase money to be paid down. 20 per cent of the remainder at the end of the Ist year. 40 per cent of the remainder at the end of the 2nd year. 40 per cent of the remainder at the end of the 3rd year, bearing interest at the usual rate. The above offers a remunerative investment to a person of moderate capital, there being a constant demand for timber both in Lyttelton and Christchurch.
