The Sefoy Journals.—The " Waterford News." a Liberal journal, states that the " Nation " newspaper has been ■' kicked out" of the Commercial Newsroom of New Ross— the borough which formerly returned Mr. Gavan Duffy to the Saxon Parliament. The voting was as follows:—For retaining the " Nation," 15; against, 34. Its late Sepoy essays led to its expulsion, which was moved by Dr. Howlett, a respectable Roman Catholic gentleman. An association of working men in London has been formed for the purpose of facilitating emigration to the British colonies. It is intended by small subscriptions from its members to form a fund to assist, in turn, a given number of unemployed mechanics, and others, It is intended shortly to hold a public meeting to discuss the best means of furthering the object in view ; and we understand that Mr. Ayrton, M.P. for the Tower Hamlets, and Mr. Roupell, M.P. for Lambeth, are expected to assist the undertaking.
