WELLINGTON.

By the Wonga Wonga and Henry we have Wellington papers tp the 23rd instant. They contain the turthVr'*prdceedihgs of the Reform party. The ' Spectator * asserts the likelihood of Dr. Featlierston's election being and the Reform party has £ot up a requisition to Mr. St. Hill, signed by 158 names, to stand in case of the vacancy being declared. Mr. St. Hill gives a favourable reply. The ' Independent' pooh-poohs the objection raised against Dr. Featherston's return, and attacks Mr. St. Hill on the ground of indecency in offering to take advantage of an informality in an election where he was Returning Officer. The Reform party urges the calling .together of the Council, and endeavours to precipitate a ' dead-lock' by enforcing the necessity of an Appropriation Act for all expenditure. The following letter has been forwarded to the Superintendent, and similar letters .to the Secretary, Treasurer, and Members of the Executive :^- ?
