LIFE DEPARTMENT. This Company also grants policies on every description of risk contingent upon human life, including insurances for the whole term thereof, or for short periods, and with or without participation in profits. It is a peculiar feature of the Company that from the nature of its constitution it affords all the advantages of a mutual association combined with the security of a proprietary company ; and amongst other inducements to insure with it may be mentioned-— 1.
