The prices realised for teas, considering that comparatively large parcels were offered, were good, although, perhaps no advance on former rates; yet those rates were fully maintained Sugars, however, may be said to have a downward tendency, in consequence of recent intelligence received from the Australian markets. Ine following are the prices realized:—Tea, £8 10 to £9 per chest; Cossipore sugar, £7<> per ton; Company's pieces, £62 do.; Dark Mauritius £50 do.; Sydneymould candles, B|d. <$> ft.; French candles, Is. 4£d. do.; tobacco, (brand unknown) Is. Id.whisky, 1 doz. cases, 175.; Sydney soap, £43 per ton; the ironmongery fetched good prices; and 15 trunks boots and shoes sold at a fair advance on English cost price."
