TO THE ELECTORS OF THE AKAEOA DISTRICT. f^ ENTLEMEN,—X regret that business \3T engagements will not permit me to visit the various districts of the Peninsula, as I had intended, prior to the Election. As it is probable that the other candidates for your suffrages may also be unable to meet •you till the day of nomination, allow me to suggest that there should be a full attendance «of electors on that occasion, when the opinions of all who desire to represent you will be fully stated, and all other objects of an ordinary i election meeting can, of desirable, be folly accomplished. The nomination is appointed to take place on Monday, the 2nd of November, at the Court House, Akaroa j and the polling on Thursday, j ■the sth of November, at the same place in Akaroa, the School House in Pigeon Bay, and the house of Mr. Tuson in Okain's Bay.
