TO THE ELECTORS OF THE AKAROA DISTRICT. :jTi ENTLEMEN,—I regret that 'business \UT engagements will not .permit me to ■visit the various districts of the Peninsula, as I had intended, prior to the Election. ' As it is probable that the other candidates for your suffrages may also be unable to meet , you till the day of nomination, allow me to suggest that there should be a full attendance •of electors on that occasion, when the opinions -of all who desire to represent you will be fully ■stated, -ana all other pbjects of an ordinary •election meeting can, if desirable, be fully accomplished. The nomination-is appointed to take place on Monday, the 2nd of November, at the Court House, Akaroa; and the polling on Thursday, the sth of November, at the same place in Akaroa, the School House in Pigeon Bay, and .the house of Mr. Tuson in Okain's -Bay.
