SIR,— The Provincial Council haying been dissolved, we shall shortly be called upon to elect new members : Therefore, we, the undersigned electors of the town of Christchurch, feeling that the time has arrived when the commercial interests of this province should be more amply represented, and having the fullest confidence in your'integrity and ability, request that you will allow yourself to be placed in nomination as a candidate foi* the representation of this town in the Provincial Council.
