THEATRE ROYAL, LYTTELTON. Lessee and Manager, W. H. Foley, MR. W. H. FOLEY begs to inform the -: Ladies and Gentlemen of Lyttelton and its neighbourhood' that, in consequence of the Town Hall being required for the Resident Magistrate's Court and the Conversazione, the Theatre will be closed next week. The next Performance will take place on THURSDAY EVENING, the 27th instant. Full particulars will appear in future advertisements, and in bills of the day. AT a public meeting held at the "White Hart Hotel, on the evening of the 6th ultimo, Mr. Woodford in the chair, it was resolved on the motion of Mr. E. Recce, and seconded by Mr. C. Turner, that a public subscription list be opened for tlie purpose of obtaining a peel of bells, (unconnected with any public place of worship.) Subscription lists will be left at the different Hotels in Christchurch, Lyttelton, and Kaiapoi.
