SAILED. July 22nd, schooner Salopian, for Wellington via Jlotunau. Passengers, Sir W. Ogilvie, Bart. Mrs. Caverhill, and 2 children, & Mr. Alexander I Forbes. IMPORTS. In the Canterbury, E. Genet, agent; 1 cask rum, 10 cases sweetened gin, R Davis j 1 case drapery, 2 cases, 8 cases ironmongery, 1 bundle do., 2 casks oil, 1 box, 3 brls. boots, F. Noble Campbell -, 3 bales bags, Gould & Miles ; 35 casks cement, 31 bdles. sacks, 1 case boots Cookson & Co. ; 3 brls. boots, Bennington ; 1 chest tools, 4 chests clothing, Order j 5 casks ale (N. Z. produce), Alport j 5 baskets, Order.
A ship, supposed to be the Cossipore, was entering Wellington heads when the Canterbury came out. Her cargo for this port will probably be trans-shipped. The Wonga Wonga was expected to arrive in Wellington on her southward trip, immediately after the departure of the Canterbury. The Ocean Queen sailed for this port from Nelson on the 10th inst.
