UNRESERVED SALE BY AUCTION, Under Warrants of Distress from the Resident Magistrate's Court, and a Writ of Execution from the Supreme Court. MESSRS. 'F. NOBLE CAMPBELL and CO. have received instructions to SELL BY PUBLIC AUCTION, at Twelve ■o'Clock, ON MONDAY, THE 20th INSTANT, (weather permitting) WITHOUT THE SLIGHTEST RESERVE, at the Stock-yard, Charteris Bay, opposite Lyttelton Harbour, all DR. MOORE'S HERD OF CATTLE. The Live Stock will consist of— That famous short-horned Bull, 'Brother Phil' 47 cows, some of which were imported from England, all broken in with the exception of two or three 19 heifers, supposed in calf 12 heifer calves 82 steers, of various ages 11 pigs 1 donkey A pair of working bullocks with yoke and chain. LEAKE & TAYLER. London St., Lyttelton. NELSON. WANTED by the Town of NELSON COMMITTEE OF EDUCATION, a competent HEAD MASTER, for the public school in the town. The salary to be not; less than £250 per annum, with an advance proportional with increase in number of pupils. The necessary qualification is that the Master shall be able to conduct the school on some APPROVED SYSTEM, and to impart to his pupils what is generally understood as a GOOD ENGLISH EDUCATION. Before appointment he will be required to produce a certificate of qualification to be obtained of the Inspector of schools, on examination here.
