UNRESERVED SALE BY AUCTION, Under Warrants of Distress from the Resident Magistrate's Court, and a Writ of Execution from the Supreme Court. MESSRS. F. NOBLE CAMPBELL and CO. have received instructions %o SELL BY PUBLIC AUCTION, at Twelve Vciock, .\ON MONDAY, THE 20th INSTANT, (weather permitting) WITHOUT THE SLIGHTEST RESERVE, at the Stock-yard, Charteris Bay, opposite Lyttelton Harbour, all « DR. MOORE'S HERD OF CATTLE. The Live Stock will consist of— That famous short-homed Bull, ' Brother Phil' 47 cows, some of which, were imported from England, all broken in with the exception of two or three 19 heifers, supposed in calf 12 heifer calves 32 steers, of various ages • 11 pigs 1 donkey A paix of working bullocks with yoke and chain. Should the sale of Stock not be sufficient to satisfy the above Warrants and Writ, the whole of the PLATE, GLASS, BOOKS, LINEN, &c, will be sold at a time and place to be then advertised, consisting of Plate :— Forks, spoons, tea and sugar scoops Sugar sifter spoon, butter knife Salad spoon and fork, soup ladle Fish slice, fish knife and fork Mugs, salvers, candlesticks, wax taper do. The salary to be .not less than £250 per annum, with an advance proportional with increase in number of pupils. The necessary qualification is that the Master shall be able to conduct the school on some APPROVED SYSTEM, and to impart to his pupils what is general]y understood as a GOOD ENGLISH EDUCATION. Before appointment he will be required to produce a certificate .of qualification to be obtained of the Inspector of schools, on examination here.
