The W,.nqa Woxga.—This smart little steamer, which has now p»id us her first visit, left Auckland at Noon on June 8, but owing to violent gales did not get clear away from Iryphena Harbour (Groat Barrier), till Noon on Friday the 12th. She passed the East Cape on the following noon, and in twenty-four hours more anchored off the Anurm bar. The same afternoon steamed in against a strong enb tide, and moored inside the harbour. Left Ahurm on Tuesday morning, and steaming against light head wiuas and a heavy swell, reached Wellington at half-past lenon Wednesday evening, where she staid till Friday afternoon. Then started for Lyttelton, and at 7 p.m., a few miles outside the heads passed something like a wreck or a tlead whale, the sea breaking over it slightly. The night «as Ko dark as to prevent the object being clearly distin!»>"l.ea. Anchored in Port Vicloria at 520 p m., on
performances are extremely creditable to a vessel of her size, and mast stimulate the traders of all the provinces to find employment for her, that so valuable a coasting Bt ea° mer may not be lost to onr shores. 8
