' A SPECIAL MEETING of Justices of the Peace will be held at the Resident Magistrate's Court, in Lyttelton, on MONDAY, the Sixth day of July next, at 11 a.m., and at the Resident Magistrate's Court, in Christchurch, on TUESDAY, the Seventh day of July next, at 11 a.m., for the purpose of granting Slaughter-House Licenses for the ensuing year. Persons desirous of obtaining licenses are reminded that they must forward to the clerk of th*e Bench, ten days before the above meeting, notice of their intention to apply for a license, and with such notice, a description of the place intended to be licensed.
