Shipped at Wellington, under Bond:— ■7 qr. casts brandy, 2 hhds. rum, order; Ex Myrtle, 16 boxes, 2 cases window glass, order, dLnty paid ; 6 pockets hops, 2 bdls., 1 bag, 14 bales sacks, 1 truck, Cookson, Bowler aad Co. ; 1 box, Union Bank, 7 cases drapery, 1 flog cart, 1 bundle spadeß, 1 box la«ps, 5 boxes tin plates, 1 bale drapery, 3 rolls matting, 1 case drapery, 1 do lead, 2 do. earthenware, 9 pkgs. personal effects. The Oliver Lang was to leave Wellington on Thursday last -with about 2,500 bales of wool. The Schooner Coilais\lost. —A letter from the Captain to the owners is poblished in the Sydney papers. She went ashore on the Eastern Sandspit of Sandy Island, off Port Albert, on the morning of tbe 20th February.. Her cargo was thrown oyerbpard. The captain jntimh.tes that she may get off with favourable weather. The Retriever brig, hence, January 30th, arrived in Sydney,via Wellington, February 19th. We observe it stated that the William Denny is to be detained for'the purpose of conveying Mr. Wetton and Mf. Stafford to Sydney, on their return from the south per Zingari. As the statement might operate injuriouslp on the interests of the ship, we may mention that no definite promise of that nature has been made. Should the Denny \>e ready to sail hence on the 4th ult., as is anticipated,she Mill ■ndonbtedly proceed to sea. If however, through any Worseen occuurrence, she should be detained till within, Bay three days of the anticipated arrival of the Ziugari. the directors will further detain'her for that period. Such detention, however, is not anticipated.—' S. Cross.' \ The ' Black Ball'clipper ship Ann Wilson sailed from iivepool on the 29th ultimo, for Wellington and Otago, jsiih a full cargo and 233 passengers, including the follow-
ing in'the chief cabin:—Mr .Walter Aslrin, wife and family, Miss Hannon, Mr. Robert Kidd, Mr. Master, Mre. Rutherford, Mr. James Esdale, Mr. Mogge, and Mr. Morris; This fine vessel, we understand, goes to the consignment of Messrs. Hervey, Smith and Co., Wellington, and is the fifth ship despatched by Messrs. James Baines and Co. for New Zealand.
