NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, THAT during the' neixt Session of 'the ' 'Provincial Council of the Province of Canterbury, application will be made by James Lin gard'arid John Lingard'of the Ferry Road, Contractors, < for >an ordinance enabling them to erect, • and 'for a term of years to hold a wharf. upon the Reserve along the (Right Bank of 'the River Heathcote, where the said Reserve abuts upon the said Ferry Road, at a point distant, about three-quarters of a mile from the Heath- } cote Ferry. And .to -empower them to levy dues i or charges upon all such-goods as maybe landed at the said contemplated wharf.
