NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, THAT during the next Session of the Provincial Council of the Province of Canterbury, application will be made by James Lingard and John Lingard of the Ferry Road, Contractors, for an ordinance enabling them to erect, and for a term of years to hold a wharf upon the Reserve along the Right Bank of the' River Heathcote, where 'the" said Reserve abuts upon the said Ferry Road, at a point distant about-three-quarters'of a mile from the Heathcote Perry. And to empower them to levy dues or charges upon all such goods as may be landed at the said contemplated wharf. A copy of the proposed Bill may be seen at the offices of the undersigned, at Christchurch and Lyttelton. W. S.
