TO be Sold by Auction by Mr. ALPORT on MONDAY, the SIXTEENTH day of MARCH, at Four o'clock in the Evening (unless previously disposed of by private contract, of which due notice will be given), at the Mitre Hotel, Lyttelton, subject to such, conditions as shall then and there be produced: ■ All that recently erected, well known, and spacious Inn, called the' Mitre Hotel, situate in and fronting respectively upon Norwich Quay and Canterbury Street, in Lyttelton aforesaid, standing upon Town Section No. 9, or on part thereof, together also with the Plot,of Land, Iron Store, Stables, Outbuildings, and premises thereto adjoining or belonging, as at present enclosed. t The House, Stable, and Outbuildings are in good repair and condition, replete with all requisite conveniences, and well calculated for carrying on an extensive and lucrative business. With the above premises will be sold all the valuable Household Goods and Furniture, Plate, Linen, and China, Ale, Porter, Wines and Spirits, with all other Effects whatsoever, in and upon the premises. > The House, Land and Premises, will be sold for the lesidue of a term of Twenty-One Years, from the Twenty-Fifth of, December, 1850, created by a certain Deed of Demise or Lease bearing date the Eighth day of December, 1851, and to the chief or ground rent of £80 a-year for the first seven years, and £100 per annum during the remainder of the term, subject nevertheless to an underlease of part thereof producing a clear rental of £2Q per annum. If required, one-half or more of the purchase money may remain"on security of the property, of which immediate possession may be had, the present owners being about to retire from the business.
