NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, THAT during the next Session of the Provincial Council of the Province of Canterbury-, application will be made by James Lingard'and John'Lingard of the .Ferry Road, Contractors, for an ordinance enabling them to erect, and for a term of years to'hold a wharf upon the .Reserve along' the Right Bank of the River Heathcote, where.the said Reserve abuts upon the said Ferry Road, at a point distant aboxit three-quarters of a mile from the Heathcote Ferry. And to empower them to levy duos. or charges upon all such goods as may be landed at the said contemplated wharf.
