NOTICE IS HEREBY GITEN, THAT during the next Session of the Provincial Council of the Province of j Canterbury, application will be made by Jaraes Lingard John Lingard of the Ferry Boad, .Contractors, for an ordinance enabling them to erect, and for a term of years to hold a wharf iipon the Reserve along tke.Bight Bankof the River Heathcote, where the said Reserve abuts upon the said Ferry- Road, at a point distant about three-quarters of a mile from the Heatheote Ferry. And to empower them? to levy dues or charges upon all such goods as may be landed ut the said contemplated wharf.
