NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, THAT chii-ing the next Session of the Provincial Council of the Province of Canterbury,.application will be made by James Ltngard and John Lingard of the Ferry Road, Contractors, for an .ordinance enabling them to erect, and for a term of years to'hold a wharf upon the Reserve along the Right Bank of the River Heathc'ote, where the said Reserve abuts upon the said Ferry Road, at'a1, point distant" about three-quarters of a mile from the Heathcote Ferry.'
