THE Provincial Government are prepared to receive Tenders: from persons willing to engage in the construction of roads or other Public Works, and to receive payment in land, under the : 43rd , clause of the Waste Land Regulations now in force. ■;... 2. Every tender must contain a specification of the Public Work which it is proposed to construct, and the sum in money for which the contractor is willing; to undertake it, and the time within., which it is to be completed. : 3. Every Tender must also contain a careful description of the portion of land which the contractor; desires to receive in payment for such work. ' ' 4. No-Tender will be accepted on which the quantity of land applied for exceeds one acre for every Two Pounds Sterling of the value of the work to be done. ; : - .. 5. No Tender will be .accepted except on the written, certificate of the Provincial Engineer,, tliat" the work proposed to •be done is of public benefit, and is bbna fide worth the sum specified in the Tender. 6.
