A SALE of Town Lands in the above towns, will take place at the Land Office at Christchurch, at noon, on Monday, the 19th January, 1857, ' Maps of both Towns may be seen at the Land Office. A mail of the town of Akaroa may also be seen on application to the Resident Magistrate at Akaroa, after the first of December next. A map of the Town of Timaru may also be seen at the Survey Office, Talbot Forest. Persons wishing to have sections put up to au&ion on the above day must apply to the Waste Lands Board, on or before the 2S)tli December, 1856, and pay to the Treasurer a Deposit of 10 per cent, of the upset price.
