Percival formerly of the Golden Fleece Hotel, Christchurch, but now of Governor's Bay near Lyttelton, are requested to meet at my Office on Monday next, the sth of January, at 2 o'clock in the Afternoon, to make arrangement for the ultimate settlement of their claims, previous to his leaving this colony for England. SUBSCRIBERS to the "Lyttelton Times," who have not paid in advance, will be furnished at the close of the year with their accounts for subscriptions considered due on the 31st of December, and calculated at the credit rates ; viz., for a year, £1 17s. 6d.; halfyear, £1; quarter, 10s. Subscribers wishing to pay in advance for the ensuing year are reminded that early payment is necessary; or the period elapsed after the expiring of the previous subscription will, be charged for at the increased rates. A prompt settlement of small accounts, due from Advertisers at a distance, is particularly requested, to save the trouble of collection. DESERTERS FROM THE FRENCH WHALING SHIP 'ELIZABETH,' IN AKAROA HARBOUR. IVTOTICE is hereby given, that any _L i party or parties aiding any of the seven Seamen deserters from the French Whaling ship Elizabeth will be prosecuted with the utmost rigour of the law. Akaroa, 24th Dec., 1556. S T 0 L E N, EROM the French ship Elizabeth, Captain Le Mar, in Akaroa Harbour, on the morning of the 24th of December, 1856, by seven of her erew —Deserters —A live oared whale boat, with five oars. A liberal reward Avill be given to any parties giving information where, the boat is to be found, or returning her in Akaroa to the Captain or his Agent, Mr. JOHN PARKER.
