"T^TTHEREAS' I have' been given to ¥ understand by certain parties debtors to the late Firm of Rayner arid Percival-, that in cases of disputed accuracy they considered it incumbent on one or other of the above Firm to make it their business to attend at the place appointed—explain and prove otherwise. This is to give notice, that inasmuch as by a certain letter of agreement bearing date the 19th of April last, and entered into by J. F. Ballard, and Rayner and Percival, as transferring therein their debts and liabilities from the 10th of July, 1555,t0 the said Ballard,together with all credits accruing within the same period —foi* better—for worse —more or less, and this without any guarantee as to loss in collection or trouble in proving ; I shall now for the future take no further trouble in the matter, as by the conditions of said sale I consider myself done with the business.
