SYDNEY MARKETS.

Friday Evening, August 8. 1856. Flour and Grain. —A still further rise has been made to-day in flour and grain, equal in amount to that reported last week. Fine flour is quoted by Messrs. T. Barker and Co., at £30, seconds at £2S per ton; fair samples of wheat realise from 11s. 6d. to 12s. per bushel; bran, Is. 6d. ditto. The quantity coming down, is small. Messrs. Furlong and Kennedy's quotations are the same ; bran, Ts. 9d. to 2s. Victoria 'Mills: Fine wheat lias been fetching I Is. ud. per bushel; in consequence flour is firm at £30 per ton, and £28 for seconds. Bran continues very much in demand, from Is. 6d. to Is. 9d. per bushel. The Chili Flour Company report fine flour at £33 per ton, seconds, £31. No wheat or bran.
