At Mr. Longden's sale of stock at Christchurch, on Saturday last, the following prices were realized :— Horses—Draught. £40 to £50 ; Hacks, £30 to £35; Pony, £31. Cattla-^-Cows, with calves by their sides, 71. to 9/. 10s.; yearling heifers, 4Z. 10s. to 51. ss. ; do. steers, 755. to 80s. ; working bullocks, 20/. per pair. The above were the prices obtained for a cash sale. Had the terms been extended, it is probable higher prices would have been the result.
