The 'Lightning' clipper arrived in Port Philip July loth, with the mails of May sth, 69 days out. As the ' Lightning' W as coining up, the steamer' Telegraph,' for Sydney, passed her, a strong breeze blowing at the time. Her mails would reach to May 20th and tho»e for New Zealand might arrive in Sydney in time to be brought down here by the 'Dart,' which is advertised for Wellington and this port. . , . . The mails of the ' Lightning' hare either gone by the ' William Denny' to Auckland or by the ' Lady Grey.to Wellington.
