THE schooner " Julia," built expressly for the river trade, is now running between the Avon Wharf and Sumner, and is ready to take in goods for any part of the river or for transmission'to port. NOTICE, |°kN and after the Ist day of May next, the business of the Post-Office in Christchurch, will be removed to the Post-office now in course of erection in the Market Place. After such removal the office hours will be from 10 o'clock in the morning until 4 o'clock in-the afternoon throughout the yeer, the usual closing days exceptcd. C W. The Reserve for the Association's Store, at Christchurch 16 The portion ot the Wharves, at Lyttelton, still unoccupied 32 The Boathouse, with the Dwellinghouse next to it, on the Beach,at Lyttelmii , 33 The Agent's house anil premises, at Lyttelton, now in the occupation of the Union Bank of Australia 34 The Government Offices, at Lytteltelton ." 34 All Tenders must be addressed in writing to the Provincial Secretary, and must state the terms on which the applicant is prepared to purchase or rent the property applied for. If the terms offered in any Tender shall be deemed sufficient by the Government, the property will be put up to Auction pursuant to the Ordinance.
