If the terms offered in any Tender shall be deemed sufficient by the Government, the property will be put up to Auction pursuant to the Ordinance. Johnston & Co., take the liberty of pointing out to the Grocers of Canterbury, the great rise in the price of stigars in England and the colonies consequent upon the short crops, and the probable advantage of sending orders to Wellington to pur ;hae part of this direct importation.
