PUBLIC NOTICELYTTELTON JETTY. fTIHE Provincial Government are prepared X to receive Tenders for the hire of the Jetty at Lyttelton, for. one year, commencing the'2Gth day of March next: the tenders to be sent in on or before the 15th day of March. The tenders must state the rent which the lessee or lessees are willing to pay. The lessee must] engage to exact no higher tolls than those at present charged. °The lessee must engage that all goods shall be removed from the jetty as soon as possible after being landed, or placed on it for shipment. If any goods shall be left ©n the jetty after 4 o'clock, p.m., the lossors will have fthe right to remove them to some store: the removal and storage to If at the cost of the lessee. lessee must scrape and tar the jet y and paint the gates once in the course of the year, and keep the rails and gates in thorough repair. All other repairs will be at the cost of the lessors. The lessee must keep the crane in working order. Passengers to have the use of the wharf free of charge as heretofore.
