The estimates f«.v the coining year were entered upon. A debute ensued on the subject °f the expenses of government generally. The estimates for the Police force, Salaries of Oflieers of the Provincial government, timl Cur Educationul purposes, were adojned
by the Council. The next vote will be on the proposition to remit £1500. to England for bringing out Immigrants.
