Thompson akd Co., report: — We have a fair trade doin^ throughout the week both in Grain and Flour, principally on orders for the interior, but without causing any improvement in the tone of prices generally. Very little new wheat offerinjr, but readily saleable from 1(K 6d. to 1 Is. 6d. Fo<-eijjn grinding; parcels are in request. Calcutta wheat, slow sale at from ss. 6d. to 6s. The supplies of fl-mr continue fully equal to our present wants, and some concessions have been made in price to meet buyers in quantity, but not sufficient to call for any alteration in our previous quotations. 0 its are held firmly, but the stocks are known to be too larsje to induce speciiatioii. Barltrv in a fair request at i'ull prices. Split peas ana oatmeal hang heavy on band, and are quite unsaleable except at a sacrifice. Alait (_ood runs wf English) are in demand at remunerative rates ; several parcels made from Califurniau barley are orTjr'ni^ at low and tempting prices which are worthy of notice. Hops are quite unsaleable, the trade beinjj well laid in with stock, and cannot be induced to further purchases. Other articles remain without much change. PRICES CURRENT.
