PUBLIC NOTICELYTTELTON JETTY. rpilE Provincial Government are prepared X to receive Tenders for the hire of the Jetty at Lytteltou. for one year, commencing the 20th day of March next: the tenders to be sent in on or before the loth day of March. The tenders must state the rent which the lessee or lessees are willing to pay. The lessee must engage to exact no higher tolls than those at present charged. The lessee must engage that all goods shall be removed from the jetty as soon as possible after being landed, or placed on it (^°'.':bipment. If any goods shall be left •ft"' the jeKy after 4 O'clock, p.m., the lessors.will have ; the right to remove them to some store: the removal and storage to be at the cost of the lessee. The lessee must scrape and tar the jetty und paint the gates once in the course of the year, and keep the rails and gates in thorough repair. All other repairs will be at the cost of the lessors. The lessee must keep the crane in working older. Passengers to have the use of the wharf free cf charge as heretofore. Th c Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
