The tenders must state the lent which the lessee or lessees are willing to pay. The lessee must engnge to exact no higher tolls than those at present charged. °rhe lessee must engage that all goods shall be removed from the jetty as soon as ..'possible after being landed, or placed on it x£for shipment. If any goods shall be left on the jetty alter 4 o'clock, p.m., the lossors will have the right to remove them to some store : the removal and storage to be at the cost, of the lessee. The lessee must scrape and tar the jetty and paint the gates once in the course of the year, and keep the rails and gates in ' thorough repair. All other repairs will be at the cost of the lessors. The lessee must keep the crane in working older. Passengers to have the use of the whart free cf charge as heretofore. Th c Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
