The riders in nil the races, excepting the Hack Stakes, must appeal in the usual jockey costume. A bell will ring for saddling', nml another for starting. Nut more than five minutes allowed after the last bell, when the horses at the post will lie started. Horses to be at the post for the Hurdle Rsice, and the Jockey Club Plate at 12 o'clock on each day. The rules of the Canterbury Jockey Club will be strictly enforced.' The entrances or!? sweepstakes in each race will he 10 per cent, on the amount of the plate or stakes. The prizes will be paid hy the Treasurer on Saturday, loth March, at 3 p.m., at the Golden Fleece Hotel. Subscription Lists open at the different hotels.
