The riders in nil the races, excepting the Hack Stakes, must appeal in the usual jockey costume. A bell will ring for saddling', nml another for starting. Nut more than five minutes allowed after the last bell, when the horses at the post will lie started. Horses to be at the post for the Hurdle Rsice, and the Jockey Club Plate at 12 o'clock on each day. The rules of the Canterbury Jockey Club will be strictly enforced.'
