All Tenders must be addressed in writingto the Provincial Secretary, and must state the terms on which the applicant is prepared to purchase or rent the property applied for. If the terms offered in any Tender shall be deemed sufficient by the Government, the property will be put up to Auction pursuant to the Ordinance. HIS Ho>*Oß THE SurKIUXTKXnENT directs it to be notified for public information, that the Town Reserves of Christchurch are open for Sale on the followingterms ; and that a Map signed by the Provincial Engineer, may be seen during Office hours, in the Provincial Secretary's Office, Christchureh, setting forth the Sections into which the land will be divided (or the purpose of sale, with a list attached, describing1 the number, measurement, contents, and upset price of every Section. ; 1. Hlveiy person desirous of purchasing any p \tion of the Town Reserves must Make a written application, addressed to the \ rovinciarSecretary, stating the section or I'.tions which he or she is desirous of pur- ■ jiasiug, and describing the same by refer- , hce to the number on the Map and List \ pove referred to. 2. Laud so applied for will be put up at Public Auction, at the upset price specified i on the List, not beinir less than alter the | rate of Fifty Pounds per acre, i 3. Any number of sections comprised in | one block, and named in one application, not exceeding five acres, will be put up to Auction as one lot. 4.
