The Lyttelton Times.

Wednesday, Nov. 14. The Sea Serpent, from Melbourne, brings us the English news, per James Baines, to the sth of August. Nothing of any great importance has occurred at the seat of war. What news there is will be found in another column. We defer, until Saturday, any notice of Colonial news which has come to hand. His Excellency Colonel Sore Browne had anived at Taranaki, on the 27th ult., en route for the Southern Settlements. We are informed that orders have reached the Corrmissioner of Crown Lands to refund to this Province the Land Revenue which was withheld. No particulars have vet reached us.
