Sidey, Birkett, and Welbey. SAILED. Oct. 29, brig Amherst, 169 tons, Mclntvre, for Melbourne. Passengers, Messrs. Pinkerton, and Andrews. — 30, hrigantine Reindeer, 104 tons, Jasper, for Hobart town. Passengers, Messrs. J. Millel, Vogan, J. Frost, wife and 4 children. IMPOKTS. In the Spray, A. J. Alport, agent, 3 horses, 5 drays, 1 piauoforte,3 cases ploughs,2 ploughs, 12 bowes yokes and chains, 1 tent, 3 casks arsenic, 2 cases books, furniture, raisins, crockery, ironmongery, pickles, plated goods, tea, sugar, saddlery, &c, A. R. McDonald ; 2 casks leather ware, 5 boxes plate glass, 2 pianfortes, aud 1 box books, order; 10 casks arsenic, R. Scott; also, shipped at Nelson for Sydney, 37 hales wool, Morrison and Sclanders. EXPORTS. In the Amherst, Waitt, Hargreaves, and Co., agents, 7 cwt. butter, 630 bushels wheat, 407 do. oats, 432 do. bran, 450 do. barley, 70 tons of potatoes, order; 18 tons of potatoes, S. A. Andrewes. In the Reindeer, Latter & Le Cren, agents, purl of original cargo from Hobart Town.

The Sea Serpent hence, arrived at Melbourne on the 28th September. The Maori, which left this port on the Ist of September, arrived at Sydney on the 20lh, and was advertised to leave Sydney again in a few days. Her arrival here is daily expected.

Bipths.—On the 17th inst, at Valehead, Rockwood, the wife of T. H. Potts, Esq., of a daughter. On the 26th inst., at Lyttelton, the wife of Mr. Coe, of a son. On the 29th inst., at Lyttelton, the wife of Mr. E. M. Seager, of" a daughter. On the 27th inst., at Lyttelton, the wife of Mr. W. McCormack, of a son (still-born.) Marriage.—On the !2i.h inst., at Christchurch, by special license, Mr. Luke Dale, master mariner, to Miss M. Anderson, of Lyttelton.
