Antient Fraternity of Free and Accepted Masons. Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge. /~^N the arrival of the Lord Bishop of ■ >-' Npw Zealand, which is expected early iii the month of November, it is proposed to hold a Meeting of persons desirous of becoming members of a Canterbury Branch of the Society for promoting Christian Knowledge. A supply of hooks and tracts, bibles, prayerbooks, &c, has just been received from tbe parent Society, and a depot is established at Mr. Thompson's in Cashel Street. LYTTELTON and PORT VICTORIA HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.
