''■ Society for Promoting Christian KnowledgeON the arrival of the Lord Bishop ef Npw Zealand, which is expected early in the month of November, it is proposed to hold a Meeting of persons desirous of becoming members of a Canterbury Branch of the Society for promoting Christian Knowledge. A supply of books and tracts, bibles, prayerbooks, &c, has just been received from the parent Society, and a depot is established at Mr. Thompson's in Cashel Street. Roses Carnations Sweet Williams Geraniums Pinks Stocks Fuschias Piccotees Bulbs Flowering shrubs, Cut Flowers Cactus.
