Sept. 10, schooner Wellington, 54 tons, P lir . ter, for Timaru via Akaroa. Passenger, Mr J. Moorhouse. IMPORTS. In the William Hyde, Le Cren, agent, 65 head cattle, 75 sheep of the Leicester breed G H. Moore. ' " EXPORTS. In tbe Wellington, Waitt & Co., agents general cargo of station supplies. ' In the Amherst, Waitt & Co., agents,3 hhds. rum, 3 do. and 5 qr.-casks brandy, 23 cases Geneva, 1 case cigars, 1 keg tobacco, under bond ; 26 cases sherry, 4 cases slops, 1 bale paper, 1 cask and 1 case New Zealand cheese, and part original cargo from Melbourne. The captain of the William Hyde reports that he spoke a schooner in the Straits, 6 days out from Nelson, the captain of which vessel informed him that intelligence had been received from England announcing that the siege of Sebastopol had been raised. The William Hyde was detained 14 days in the Straits, and has lost upwards of 200 sheep and 100 heal of cattle.
