Christchnrch Q,uay _Tew Town, Set out in quarter-acre, and other sections for Building purposes. npHE situation of this town upon the main -*- road from Port Lyttelton and Sumner to Christchurch, and on the north bank of the river Heathcote, which is navigable up to this point for all vessels that can enter the Estuary, presents most important advantages to persons connected with the trade and shipping business of tbe plains, for establishing waterside premises, wholesale stores and warehouses. This being the head ofthe navigation, a plot of ground has been reserved for a steam basin, when the circumstances of the Colony shall justify its formation; and the importance ofthe place, from-which tbe greater part of the produce of the plains will necessarily be shipped, and its imports discharged, renders it one of peculiar advantage for permanent investment, as a locality in wbich'property will inevitably most rapidly increase in value. The erection of a Church upon the spot is already in progress, and provision is made for the site of a school. Plans.of. the town may be seen at the office of Mr. Cridland, architect, Christehurch, at the landing wharf, Christchurch Quay, and at the office of Mr. Dampier, solicitor, London street, Lyttelton, of whom respectively full information may be obtained. An early day will be fixed for submitting a portion of the sections to public competition and upon terms to suit the convenience of purchasers. KAIAPOI. TO BE SOLD OR LET, A COMFORTABLE 5-roomed House, —--*- with half-an-acre of Garden attached ; and also, if required, 25 acres of Rural Land, partly fenced in and ploughed, the owner being about removing to his Station. <7 This desirable residence being within a chain and a-half of the river, is well worth the attention of families desirous of removing to this fine district. , Q - For particulars, apply to Mr. Job& Christchurch, Mr. W. C. Beswick, land-;||rnt, Kaiapoi, or to Mr. Wormald, solicitor, Lyttelton.
