( Unless previously disposed of by Private Contract.) MR. LONGDEN has received instructions from F. Guinness, Esq., to Sell by Auction, (unless previously disposed of by pi-i----rate contract,) on Saturday, May otb, the following valuable property, viz.:— RURAL SECTION, No. 306, Comprising 50 acres of Freehold Land, situate on the banks of the Halswell, about ten miles from Christchurch, with the Pre-emptive right over 500 acres adjoining, together with all the improvements thereon, consisting of Dwellinghouse, Stockyards, &c. Also, The Lease of the adjoining CATTLE RUN over 6000 acres, with the improvements. The Rural Section is almost entirely fenced in by the river Halswell, and is at present used as a paddock attached to the run ; it is also well adapted for agricultural purposes. The above property is at present let on lease until April, 1859, and offers a fair opportunity for investment to that period, with a view to occupation thereafter. Also, 10^ Acres (or thereabouts) of FREEHOLD LAND, known as Stanmore, and situate close to Christchurch, adjoining the Eev. Mr. Mackie's. This land is known to be particularly productive, and a very heavy crop has just been taken from it. It is securely fenced and drained.
