LONGDEN has received instructions from the surviving executor of the late C. Rttdstone Read, Esq., to Sell by Auction, at the resilience of the deceased, in Kaiapoi, on Wednesday, the 18th inst., all that I LEASEHOLD PROPERTY, Bern* part of Section No. 320, and comprising .130 acres of Land, together with all the improvements thereon. The lease is held for 21 years from the 26th May, 1854, at a progressive rent of 55., 10s., and 15s. per acre; for every seven years. The section is beautifully situate,on the banks of the River Waimakariri, close to the town of Kaiapoi, and has a most extensive and valuable deep-water frontage. About 20 acres are fenced in, and partly under cultivation. The improvements consist of a good Dwell-ing-house and Garden, and some small outbuildings. The above property is justly considered one of the most valuable in the district, and would be particularly desirable for any, one wishing to commence farming, as no further outlay beyond mere cultivation would be necessary, and the purchaser might have immediate possession. Guinness, Esq., to Sell by Auction, (unless previously disposed of by private contract,) on Saturday, May slh, the following valuable property, viz.:— RURAL SECTION, No. 306, Comprising 50 acres of Freehold Land, situate on the banks of the Halswell, about ten miles from Christehurch, with the Pre-emptive right over 500 acres adjoining, together with all the improvements thereon, consisting of Dwellinghouse, Stockyards, &c. Also, The Lease of the adjoining CATTLE RUN over 6000 acres, with the improvements. The Rural Section is almost entirely fenced in by the river Halswell, and is at present used as a paddock attached to the run ; it is also well adapted for agricultural purposes. The above property is at present let on lease until April, 1859, find offeis a fair opportunity for investment to that period, with a view to occupation thereafter. Also, lO¥ Acres (or thereabouts) of FREEHOLD LAND, known as Stanmore, and situate close to Chri&tchurch, adjoining the Rev. Mr. Mackie's. This land is known to be particularly productive, and a very heavy crop has just been taken from it. It is securely fenced and drained.
